Welcome!

I am a freelance health journalist and communications strategist with an interest in uncovering solutions to public health challenges. I report on maternal and reproductive health, health policy, infectious diseases, environmental health, and the health care workforce.

I previously worked as a technical writer for a global health NGO and a copy editor at the Austin American-Statesman. I received my Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and my Master of Journalism from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I’m fortunate to call Chapel Hill my home.
